Pousada do Vale was born from the choice to inhabit Fernando de Noronha with respect. Installed in a century-old mansion at Jardim Elizabeth, a 25,000 square meter plot surrounded by native forest, streams and 18th century historic buildings, the inn grew with the island. For more than twenty years, Pousada do Vale learned the rhythms of Noronha, preserved its stories and welcomed with genuine hospitality those who arrive from around the world. It is this time that allows us to offer an experience that goes beyond lodging and a real connection with Noronha.

JARDIM ELIZABETH · SINCE 2011

A living sustainability project.

In 2011, Pousada do Vale transformed part of Jardim Elizabeth into a real permaculture and agroecology space, with systems focused on environmental restoration and 100% organic food production. Today, the agroforest directly supplies the kitchen of Gastronomia Do Vale. Herbs, fruits, vegetables and spices grown on the same land where guests sleep arrive on the plate with Noronha's identity intact. It's a complete cycle: the land nourishes the kitchen, the kitchen nourishes the guest, the guest is nourished by Noronha.
